Body At the Sand Blaster
Here I tried to clean the body as best as I could. I found little or no rust, to speak of. The rear window area was pretty bad. The rear areas of the front fenders also needed repair. Bob's Body and Fender does pretty good work. Jose filled in the areas with new metal and a little filler. |
View of Bed and Rear Window
This is a view of the bed and Rear Window area. This needed some rust repair. After I blasted the rust, Jose filled in the spots with Metal-to-Metal. This is almost like steel. He even left in place the clip mounts for the window glass and trim. |

Firewall Area
This area cleaned up great. There are a number of holes that make no sense here. They are around the coil mounting area, but do not mount anything. They will go away. |
Suspension parts
New rear end parts to be installed soon. Yes, that is a 12 bolt Posi-traction rear end with a 3.55:1 ratio. New KYB Gas Adjust shocks, a huge sway bar,Polyurethane bushings, and new coils front and rear. The front coils are installed already. This should make the car really handle the horsepower and turns as well. |
